My Chocolate Profile
I’m Kristin, and my fascination with food began long ago. Throughout my childhood, my mother and 2 great aunts used to have a holiday cookie baking marathon, which involved much laughter, strong cocktails, and dozens of different cookies. Like any child, I would lay in bed or sneak into the family room listening to the ladies, wishing I could be a part of the festivities. Personally, my cooking journey began when I was 13 after I discovered my Mom’s Good Housekeeping Illustrated Cookbook, which started my love of homemade pizza, well anything homemade. Over the past seven years, I took classes at Ecole Chocolate, interned at Ghyslain Chocolatier, and owned a small chocolate business. Now, I teach chocolate tasting classes and pour my energy and love of chocolate into this blog.
