French Fridays with Dorie-Speculoos

Speculoos

I was in charge of Christmas day meals.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes for brunch.

Sweet Potatoes with Pecans and Goat Cheese for the first afternoon snack.

Pineapple Pork Spring Rolls for the later afternoon snack.

Dinner was going to be Taiwanese Pork Noodles, but my sister’s neighbor made a snow bar on the street, so dinner consisted of glϋhwein and cookies.

Christmas Day Snow Bar

For dessert, I decided to make speculoos from Around My French Table.

They’re spicy and crunchy.

My niece, who does not like sweets, ate two after her dinner.
